Scarecrow Festival

05:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Traditionally the Saturday before Halloween is the date for the Scarecrow Festival.  Activities will begin at 5:00 PM on Cleveland and Waggoner Streets.  The costume contest will be at 5:30 pm on the post office steps.  Various organizations will have booths set up on Cleveland and Waggoner such as the band cakewalk, a bean bag toss, dart pop, pumpkin golf, and lots more.  There will also be lot of food such as rib sandwiches, hot dogs and bake sales.  The coloring sheets from Electra Elementary will be displayed in the building just east of Holiday Park.  Come out and have a fun and safe Halloween event with us.

Holiday of Light Parade

04:00 pm - 07:00 pm

The Holiday of Lights Christmas Parade is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  This year it is Nov. 28, 2015.  The parade will start at 6:00 pm.  There is NO ENTRY FEE but please call the chamber to register your entry.  Trophies will be given for the top three lighted floats and vehicles.   Please come out and enjoy the festivities.  

Santa & Mrs. Claus will arrive at the end of the parade and be in the banquet hall of the Chamber of Commerce for photos after the parade.  They are 4" x 6" for $5.00 each.
