Scarecrow Festival

05:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Traditionally the Saturday before Halloween is the date for the Scarecrow Festival.  Activities will begin at 5:00 PM on Cleveland and Waggoner Streets.  The costume contest will be at 5:30 pm on the post office steps.  Various organizations will have booths set up on Cleveland and Waggoner such as the band cakewalk, a bean bag toss, dart pop, pumpkin golf, and lots more.  There will also be lot of food such as rib sandwiches, hot dogs and bake sales.  The coloring sheets from Electra Elementary will be displayed in the building just east of Holiday Park.  Come out and have a fun and safe Halloween event with us.

Holiday of Light Parade

Santa Claus Comes to Town

10:00 am - 11:00 am

Santa arrives at the Chamber to visit with kids and hand out bags of fruit and candy.  He also draws the winning number for the 6 foot socking that the Chamber furnishes.  Local merchants purchase ads in a coloring book through the Chamber and the profit pays for the stocking. The coloring books are given away with the bags of candy.
